"All of the people at the Honey Dew Scholarship Breakfast were so friendly. I enjoyed the story of Dick Bowen and how he lived out his true passion. He is a generous man and I will pay it forward as my college career begins at Providence College. Thank you to all of the wonderful people at Honey Dew Donuts®. I appreciate their generosity."

Honey Dew Donuts® Scholarship Fund Established in 1999 by Honey Dew Donuts® founder Richard J. Bowen, the Honey Dew Donuts® Scholarship Fund helps local high school seniors and their parents offset the cost of college. Recipients must demonstrate academic excellence by maintaining a B- grade point average or better, must be accepted into a four-year accredited college or university, and must participate in community service activities. Proceeds for the Honey Dew Donuts® Scholarship Fund are raised through the Annual Golf Invitational where contributions are donated by our friends and affiliates. Scholarships in the amount of $250 are awarded to deserving graduating high school seniors in all 100 Honey Dew local franchise communities. To date, Honey Dew Donuts® has awarded more than 1300 scholarships.
