How long does the franchisee application process take?
Once we receive a completed application, we review the information and contact you either by phone or by mail. Once started, the approval process normally takes approximately four weeks.

Does Honey Dew Associates, Inc. assist me with any financing?
At this time we do not assist with any financing.

Does Honey Dew Associates, Inc. sell territories?
Honey Dew Associates does not sell territories; each shop is franchised on a site-by-site bases.

What is the initial investment for a Honey Dew Donuts^® franchise?
The estimated investment required for the first shop ranges from $240,000 - $525,000.

On what financial requirements do you base franchise approval?
We look for prospective applicants to have $100,000 in cash and a net worth of $400,000. We consider this information to be an indicator as to how easily prospective franchisees will be able to obtain financing for a new Honey Dew Donuts shop.

I know of a great location for a Honey Dew Donuts^® shop. What should I do?
All sites must meet set criteria to be approved as new Honey Dew Donuts^® shop locations. Any site must meet set criteria to be approved as a new Honey Dew Donuts^® shop locations. Do I pay royalties to Honey Dew Donuts^®?
All franchisees must pay royalty fees to Honey Dew Associates, Inc. as part of their franchise agreement. The current royalty fee is 7%. This fee ensures that franchisees will receive ongoing operational and overall system support. Honey Dew Associates, Inc. also requires franchisees to pay an additional 2% marketing fee. This fee helps Honey Dew Associates, Inc. to continue to increase brand awareness through its numerous advertising, marketing, and public relations channels.

What type of training will I receive?
All new franchisees must successfully complete our comprehensive training program. This program is a four to six week full-time course conducted at our training facility in Plainville, Massachusetts. The cost of this program is included in the initial franchise fee.

Is there ongoing operational support?
Honey Dew Associates, Inc. has a corporate staff of field representatives who are trained to help franchisees operationally and to keep them up-to-date on all Honey Dew Donuts^® products, procedures, equipment, marketing, etc.
