Honey Dew Supports Breast Cancer Awareness

Plainville, MA – Honey Dew Donuts® announced that they are continuing their initiative of supporting breast cancer awareness by sustaining a relationship with both The National Breast Cancer Foundation, Inc.® and the American Cancer Society. Once again, Honey Dew customers will be able to purchase paper pink ribbons for $1 at participating locations and Honey Dew Donuts® will match all proceeds from the sale of the paper ribbons. All ribbon proceeds and the matching dollars will go directly to the National Breast Cancer Foundation.

After a flourishing event last year, Honey Dew has chosen to again sponsor the Survivor Tent at the October 2 American Cancer Society’s Making Strides Against Breast Cancer walk in Boston, Massachusetts and a Pink Ribbon Sponsor at the October 30 walk in Providence, Rhode Island.

In Boston, pink powdered Dew Drops, created specifically for the walk, and Honey Dew Donuts® Supporting the Cause backpacks will be handed to everyone who visits us at the tent (while supplies last). In addition, registered survivors will receive a special plantable book marker, a symbolic gift which signifies growth and life.

To date, Honey Dew Donuts® has donated in excess of over $300,000 toward breast cancer awareness with donations made yearly to The National Breast Cancer Foundation, Inc.® and the continued sponsorship of the American Cancer Society’s Making Strides Against Breast Cancer walks in Boston and Providence.
